Lead-singer Yolanda Charles is a well respected bassist, having become known within the music business for her bass-sound and serious groove. With a great reputation for having played with some of the worlds top artist's, she has bought her kind of 'funk' to The Deep MO along with band members, Miles Bould - drums, Scott Firth - guitar, John Robertson - guitar, Robert Mitchell - keys & Valerie Etienne additional vocals.
Currently the band are recording their new album 'Funk in the 3rd Quarter' due out in the Autumn on Groove4Dayz Records.
The Deep MO's recent dates include, Dingwalls with guest Dee C Lee and Ronnie Scott's supporting Bobbi Humphrey as part of 'Women in Jazz' week.
